Opening Ceremony with representatives of the consortium, in Muğla Provincial Directorate of National Education, 11.10.2016
Opening ceremony took place in the Directorate with representatives of all partner institutions. Estonian partners were welcomed by the Director Celalettin Ekinci and Strategy Branch Manager Tarık Tüfekçi. The Director made his opening speech and gave information about the current state of Turkey and Muğla. Derya Bostan and Enver Tufaner from the Strategy Team performed presentations about Muğla (culture and nature), Turkish education system, technology integration into education. EBA System and FATİH Project was introduced. A short film about the coup attempt in Turkey was also presented.

City tour in Muğla
After opening ceremony in the Directorate, partners and Project Team of the Directorate started a short city tour in Muğla. Famour Square, historical buildings and old Muğla houses were visited. After lunch, traditional Turkish Coffee was tasted in historical Cereal Bazaar. The programme continued with boat tour in Akyaka.
Research Labs Practice and Research Centre and Technnology Centre (ALM) in Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University
Different kinds of labs were visited in the university. In each lab, the responsible people introduced the working system and technological devices. The most attractive lab was perfume lab. The professor,Naz , make a short presentation about her job and the partners tried some of the parfumes.

Meeting with project coordinators
After boat tour in Akyaka, project meeting with the participation of project coordinators,Anneli Tumanski&Derya Bostan, and representatives of partners in Turkey was carried out. Next steps of project, financial issues and budget use were discussed. New agreements were made and a new online document was created to share with all partners.
Visiting partner institutions, 12.10.2016
The second day programme started with the visit to Kızılyaka Secondary School. Headmaster of the school welcomed the guests and English tecaher made a brief presentation about the school. He also answered the questions of partners. Different classes were visited. English Class, Science Class and History Class were observed. In History Class, the topic was Kaunos, which would continue in the actual antique land in the afternoon.
The second stop was Atatürk Primary School. English Tecaher of the School welcomed the partners and introduced the buiding. Then English class using smart board and some applications dowloaded from EBA System was carried out.
Third step of the programme is the visit to Köyceğiz District Directorate of National Education. The Director, Fazıl Karabağ, welcomed the partners. A short movie about Köyceğiz and education in Köyceğiz was watched. Discussion about the quality of education was carried out. Educational issues in Köyceğiz and Vattsa were compared. The Director answered the questiona of partners. The program continued with visit to Köyceğiz Municipality. The mayor welcomed partners and answered the questions of them. Municipalities of two countries were compaired and discussed.

Outdoor history lesson in Kaunos site and sightseeing activities
Afternoon programme included sigthseeing activites, lunch on the boat, outdoor history class in Kaunos and dinner in Yuvarlakçay with participation of Mayor and deputy mayor of Köyceğiz Municipality.

School Visits to High Schools and Observation of Lesson Practices,13.10.2016
On the third day of project meeting, partners visited an Anatolian and a Vocational High School in Köyceğiz. Smart board and tablet use in classes were observed. Theproject garden (Let the Children Eat Fruits) in Anatolian High School was visited and fruits in the garden were tasted. In the vocational high school a ship simulator was introduced and the partners were in deckhouse. Before lunch, project meeting about comparing educational system and analysis of questionnaires was carried out. After lunch the programme continued with visit to SİFİGU science centre in Marmaris.

The meeting started with comparison of educational systems of Estonia and Turkey. Then three questionnaires regarding technology use and ability were analysed. Big differences in the answers from two countries were highlighted.

SIFIGU - science centre
SIFIGU is an institutuion founded by master&PhD students on a voluntary basis. The overall aim is to make science and physics enjoyable for the students. Although most of the target group consists of children, this science centre also supplies oppurtunities for adult learners. Most of the workshops are free, especially for the ones who come from suburbs or small villages.
Physics Teacher, Mehmet Doğan, did someexperiments and some presentation for the partners and showed how they made science enjoyful for kids. With origami teacher partners created a toy with paper. In different rooms of the centre, partners observed 3D printer, robotics, and wooden workshop. Mehmet Doğan also gave information about the security issues for children especially in wooden workplace.

Visiting the Centre of Science and Technique at Ege University, 14.10.2016
Ege University Science and Technology Centre- Technology Transfer Office (EBILTEM-TTO) is a regional and national expertise organization on innovation management, R&D, technology transfer and triple helix cooperation. The Centre is located in Izmir, Turkey and is within the organizational structure of Ege University which is a 55-year old State University. Since its establishment in 1994, EBILTEM-TTO has been playing a pivotal role in increasing the innovation capacity in the Aegean region and in building bridges between the academia and industry. It does so by, amongst others, advising various key stakeholders on how to stimulate and increase the innovation and R&D level of the industry, adopting international developments to the local situations, advising the SMEs on issues such as research, IPR, innovation management, new investments and strengthening the ties between universities and businesses. As a result of these efforts, EBILTEM-TTO has become a regionally and nationally renowned prestigious Centre and has been accepted as a unique model for Academia & Business interface organization in Turkey. In 2012, EBILTEM-TTO deserved to be supported within the scope of Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBİTAK) 1513- Technology Transfer Offices Support Program to develop its existing Technology Transfer activities. The support was awarded for 10 years to transfer University’s technologies to the market effectively to maximize their impact and benefit not only to the University itself, but also to the society.

After the last dinner together, certifictaes of the partners were given. Representatives from each institutions in Turkey participated in the ceremony. Vaatsa Municipality Mayor, Director of District Directorate, Deputy Major of Köyceğiz Municipality gave their final speeches and best wishes.
