An outdoor lesson in Estonian National Museum in Tartu
On 19 October the students from classes 5-9 in Väätsa Basic School ,Estonia visited Estonian National Museum. The visit was a part of a the national curriculum in history, Estonian, English, Russian and civics.
Forms 5 and 6: Estonian history,
Forms 7-9: Estonian history, Estonian language and other Finno-Ugric languages.
The tasks were created by teachers that were solved there by students. In next lessons at school students discussed about the tasks and got marks.

A visit to Photography Museum and Estonian Museum of Natural History, outdoor games in Tallinn old town
On June 1, 2017 over-school outing for classes 1-8 was organised. Classes 1-5 played orientation game in Tallinn old town using QR codes, after that Estonian Museum of Natural History was visited. Classes 6-8 visited Photography Museum, after that orientation game was played in Tallinn old town using a tool Avastusrada.

Students from 1-5 were given maps of Tallinn and QR questions. They had to open questions with QR Reader, find an answer or place in the city using the map. The game was played in teams.
Topics were chosen according to national curriculum in history and technology.

Visit to EXPO2016 in Antalya by Köyceğiz Gücü Youth and Sports Club

Visit to innovation centre INNOKAS in Haapsalu and Haapsalu Gymnasium
On 25 Oct 2016 the teachers in Väätsa Basic School visited innovation centre INNOKAS and Haapsalu Gymasium.
In Innokas a workshop for robotics using Lego kits was carried out. In Haapsalu Gymnasium teachers got acquainted with studies as well as the use of technology and web tools.

Visit to scientific centre Mektory in Tallinn
On 6 Oct, 2016 the teachers from Väätsa Playschool visited scientific centre Mectory. Teachers took part in workshop for teaching maths with Lego kits by Virge Schmidt. Basic rules in math through discovering, building and playing were taught, worksheets "Maths is fun" were shared that can be used in playschool. Tea Varrak, director of Mectory introduced the building, 3D printing and students' enterprises, start-ups etc.

Visit to AHHAA scientific centre 15.04.2016
On 15 April Väätsa Youth Centre visited AHHAA scientific centre in Tartu where an exhibition "AHHAA Top Secret" was displayed. Students were turned into detectives who could break the code, to move silently and solve mystery with spy manner.
Also lamps were made using LED-diodes, batteries and paper. Photos were taken from every student using special effects.

2. space workshop, where was talked about space and spaceship was made,
3. TV workshop where students were taught to create a TV show and it was created.
